BUILT FROM
EXPERIENCE.
NOT THEORY.

The Standard was not invented. It was lived — through transformation, through life changing, through rebuilding. More than once.

“The Standard doesn't care where you've been. It only cares what you do next.”

01

2012 — The First Transformation

Dennis Jensen founded 300WOD. In 2012, he underwent a major personal transformation — losing approximately 50 kg / 110 lbs in approximately 8 months. This was not a casual change. It was a complete reinvention through discipline, structure, and consistency.

The kind of transformation that changes how you understand yourself. What you are capable of. What the work actually means.

Life Continued

Dennis became a father. Family, work and changing priorities affected training at different periods of his life. At different times he regained approximately 10–15 kg / 22–33 lbs and had to rebuild again.

This is the part most fitness products ignore. The return. The rebuilding. The moment when you are not a beginner — but you are starting again. This recurring experience became central to the philosophy.

SACRIFICE TODAY, SO YOU CAN BE THE BEST VERSION OF YOU TOMORROW.

2020 — The Method Proves Itself Again

In 2020, Dennis needed to rebuild again. This time he had developed a repeatable training structure. Using the methodology that became 300WOD, he lost approximately 15 kg / 33 lbs in approximately 2.5 months.

300WOD was not invented first as an app, a clothing brand, or a theoretical fitness concept. The methodology existed in Dennis' own training before it became a commercial product. The Standard was proven before it was packaged.

The Insight

Transformation is not necessarily one permanent finish line. Sometimes life changes. Sometimes you rebuild. The Standard gives you something to return to.

What was needed was not motivation. What was needed was a system — simple enough to execute consistently, demanding enough to matter. 6 exercises. 50 reps each. 300 total reps. Approximately 30 minutes.

YOU HAVE POWER OVER YOUR MIND — NOT OUTSIDE EVENTS. REALIZE THIS, AND YOU WILL FIND STRENGTH.

Why 300?

THE METHOD

6

50

The structure is intentionally simple. 6 × 50 = 300. The athlete changes. The resistance changes. The exercises can change. The Standard and structure remain recognizable.

The structure is simple. The prescription is personal. A Foundation athlete and a Spartan athlete do not necessarily use the same exercises or resistance — but both face the 300.

This allows athletes at different ability levels to face the same fundamental challenge. One Standard. Every level.

The Symbol

WHY THE SPARTAN?

300 is more than a rep count. The number carries a deeper meaning within the brand — drawing on the enduring cultural image of discipline, endurance, courage, commitment, and standing against overwhelming odds.

The Spartan is our symbol for the internal athlete: the part that accepts difficult work, maintains discipline, returns after setbacks, and continues when quitting would be easier.

This is symbolic. It is not an attempt to recreate historical Sparta. The Spartan is the version of you that shows up — especially when it is hard.

FIND YOUR SPARTAN.

“Find Your Spartan” does not mean becoming an ancient warrior. It means discovering the disciplined version of yourself that is capable of more than you previously believed.

Transformation. Life. Setbacks. Rebuilding. Returning to the Standard. You don't need to become someone else. You need to discover what you are capable of becoming.

The Conclusion

THE STANDARD DOESN'T CHANGE.

YOU DO.

Dennis transformed. Life changed. His body changed. His circumstances changed. He rebuilt. The Standard remained something he could return to. That is what 300WOD is built on.
