HOW TO PERFORM

Sit on the floor with knees bent, feet flat or slightly elevated.

Lean back slightly — torso at roughly 45 degrees.

Hold a weight or clasp hands together.
- 4
Rotate the torso from side to side, touching the weight to the floor on each side.
- 5
Keep the core braced throughout.

Full rotation to each side. Core braced throughout. Controlled movement.
COACHING CUES
COMMON MISTAKES
Rotating only the arms — the torso must rotate.
Losing the lean — maintain the 45-degree torso angle.
Rushing — controlled rotation only.
SCALING / SUBSTITUTIONS
Bodyweight only (no weight).
Feet on the floor for easier balance.
Reduce the range of rotation.
